Located at 615 Hillsborough St, Raleigh, NC 27603, 321 Coffee - Downtown Raleigh operates as a coffee shop serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–3 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. Its website is 321coffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 628 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Raleigh and suggests consistent service.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Tiny store with specialty type of coffee, rather than the type of place you'd buy breakfast. Not many food options to accompany the coffee (like, 3-4 packaged munchies), so you'd think they would offer more than just a 12 oz. option for hot drinks. You'd be wrong. They do have flavor options, which must be required to make the coffee enjoyable. I ordered a latte, which was the most bitter (and burnt-tasting) latte I've ever had. Maybe it was over-roasted, water was too hot, or something? I couldn't even finish the coffee and walked to another shop to buy something that tasted better. I want to assume that my first and only experience here was an anomaly based on the many other positive reviews. It's just not my cup of tea, er... coffee.

Great coffee, great people. I didn't realize they had a great purpose at first either. (Felt like a bit of a heel, I ordered a cappuccino before realizing it wasnt on menu - a latte or espresso is - and a disabled person was taking my order, which was confusing, if only a tad. Mea culpa. They still got me the cappuccino and it was delish).

321 Coffee is right next to our office in Raleigh, and I stop in at least once a day when I’m in town. They make terrific lattes, the service is always great, and the whole place has such a positive, welcoming vibe. (The cinnamon rolls are excellent too!) Highly recommended!

This place knows how to do coffee! My husband got a hot cinnamon roll latte and I got an iced caramel americano. Both were delicious! Coffee flavor is bold and was definitely the star of both drinks - not too sweet! And the service was friendly and welcoming! Will be coming back and highly recommend!
